It doesn’t matter what gender you were born or how you identify yourself to the world. We all have a femenine, fragile beautiful side that we cannot deny.

Growing up in Mexico, I was surrounded by the most vibrant of histories and traditions, but what made a powerful impact  was visiting Frida Kahlo’s house, all these brilliant colors and textures that surrounded this strong but fragile woman. The way she expressed herself through painting, all the pain and frustration converting them into sublime and magical images.

She’s the inspiration for the dot portraits with flowers… all broken inside but when you put them together they make a precise image, a beautiful, femenine strong woman, adorned with flowers on the head just like Frida Kahlo and many other mexican women wear as a traditional costume.
